WDW Day 2 Animal Kingdom

A few pictures from Animal Kingdom today. Cassidy rode Everest for the first time and then pretty much had meltdowns the rest of the day. I have a feeling she won't be riding anymore roller coasters on this trip. We couldn't even get her to go on safari. She finally cheered up once she got her face painted. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day or the next time she doesn't get to come.
Hollywood Studios tomorrow for Toy Story Mania!!

I can't figure it out.

So the other day I prewrote a post for Walt's birthday today but when I published it, it listed it under the day I wrote it. So if you want to see my tribute to Walt on his birthday, please scroll down.

Someday I'll figure out how to use this better, for now.....I'm going to Animal Kingdom!!

WDW Day 1

The day started out bright and early. Cassidy was up and ready to go at 4 am. I, on the other hand, was not. We had no problems flying or getting to Saratoga Springs. Since we couldn't get into our room mom, dad and Cassidy went to the Magic Kingdom while Erin and I went to pick up the car. After an interesting ride to the MK we found the rest of the gang and rode Pirates. Afterwards, Cassidy got her first autograph of the trip.

And Erin saw a hat he thought was funny.

We left MK and came back to SSR to get our luggage sent to our room and relax awhile. Then we headed over to T-Rex for dinner. I love this place!! It's so cool. While there is a lot to choose from on the menu this is what I had for dinner:

Doesn't it look yummy!!

Home Is Where Your Heart Is

Tomorrow I'm going home and I couldn't be more excited. This will be Cassidy's first trip to Walt Disney World during the Christmas season. I can't wait for her to see all the decorations and experience Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This trip is going to be "off the hook".
Keep an eye out here for pictures throughout the next week and follow me on Twitter for more updates. If you're going to be in the park anytime from Dec. 4-15th make sure you say Hi or even MONGELLO!!
Speaking of Mongello, I'm on this week's WDWRadio Show talking about the Christmas Party. Take a listen and let me know what you think.
And congrats to Adam for knowing where the light was. It was at Animal Kingdom.
It's going to be a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!!

Happy Birthday Walt!

Here are a few of my favorite quotes from Walt Disney.

"Why do we have to grow up? I know more adults who have the children's approach to life. They're people who don't give a hang what the Joneses do. You see them at Disneyland every time you go there. They are not afraid to be delighted with simple pleasures, and they have a degree of contentment with what life has brought."

"Disneyland is like Alice stepping through the Looking Glass, to step through the portals of Disneyland will be like entering another world."

"I am not an economist, but things are not as bad as they seem. I have a great deal of confidence in our future."

"You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you."

"In bad times and good, I have never lost my sense of zest for life."

And of course everyone's favorite quote: "I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse."
